A Tangle of Knots
Our task was to redesign a book jacket for a novel of choice that had a good mix of mystery and clarity, as Chip Kidd put it. My goal was to create a visually appealing design that drew the attention of younger readers using the book's imagery and colors.
A Tangle of Knots tells the story of a young orphan girl named Cadence, but also a story about the people in her life and the things that eventually bring them together.
Through the wonderful writings of Lisa Graff, A Tangle of Knots is slowly unraveled as readers dive into its chapters and discover how we might all be more connected than we think.
