Moodboard
Going in, I had a very clear idea of the aesthetic I wanted my logo to have. I am a sucker for mascots, and combined with my love for games and cozy spaces, I decided to design a logo for a gaming cafe!
Sketches
We were tasked with creating 30-40 sketches for our logo exploration. I find that sketching on paper is the easiest way to brainstorm without feeling tethered to any one idea.
Digital Drafts
In this next phase, I digitized the sketches that were best received in Adobe Illustrator. The focus was to see which concept worked the best and to play with typefaces.
Final Logos
My final logo and its variations! The textured edges, fun color palette, and playful type helped me achieve the vibe I was going for, and I couldn't be more happy with my little shark guy!
